Project description

Omnichannel is an AI-powered content distribution platform designed for marketing teams, creators, and growth-stage startups who struggle with scaling content across multiple platforms.

Challenge

The existing content workflow for marketing teams and creators is highly manual and fragmented, making it difficult to efficiently repurpose a single piece of content across multiple platforms. Users struggle with maintaining consistent brand voice, optimising content for platform-specific engagement, and scaling distribution without increasing workload or team size.

Ways of working

Omnichannel followed was a product-led and systems-thinking approach, starting with mapping end-to-end content workflows from creation to distribution. I explored how users interact with content across different platforms, identifying key friction points in manual repurposing and inconsistencies in output quality. Wireframes and interaction models were developed to simplify the transformation flow. The final design was refined through a structured hierarchy of input, transformation, review, and distribution stages to ensure clarity, scalability, and ease of use.

Process

The design process for Omnichannel began with researching how marketing teams and creators manage content distribution across multiple platforms. These insights shaped a simplified system structure of Input → Transformation → Review → Distribution, which guided the overall experience design. I then developed the information architecture, wireframes, and interaction patterns. The final UI direction drew inspiration from Linear, Perplexity, and Notion, aiming for a clean, structured, and trustworthy AI experience. The design was iteratively refined to ensure users could clearly understand, control, and confidently distribute content across multiple platforms.

Research & Planning

Conducted research into how marketing teams and creators manage content distribution across multiple platforms, identifying key challenges such as manual repurposing, inconsistent brand voice, and inefficient scaling workflows. Defined primary user segments and mapped their end-to-end content lifecycle to determine core feature needs and opportunities for AI-driven optimisation.

Design & Prototyping

Developed low and high-fidelity prototypes focused on simplifying the content transformation workflow from input to distribution. Iteratively refined user interfaces and interaction patterns to balance AI automation with user control, incorporating feedback loops and progressive disclosure to improve clarity and usability.

Development & Implementation

Designed and structured the product around a scalable AI system that transforms single content inputs into multiple platform-optimized outputs. Prioritized feature development based on workflow efficiency and user value, integrating intelligent content adaptation, voice consistency mechanisms, and multi-platform distribution logic to support seamless end-to-end content operations.

Early concept feedback indicated strong interest in the idea of automated omnichannel repurposing, particularly among marketing teams and solo creators who struggle with content scaling.
